AUP is the result of over four and a half years of research into the peoples and cultures of Africa. By studying the economy and needs of each region, we are able to determine what is most important to the people there.
We designed our initiatives to “teach people how to fish” and enable them to be self-sufficient. Working from this basic principle, we are setting up self-sustaining systems that make fundamental, positive changes in people's lives.
The AUP initiatives resolve serious issues that the African people are facing and positively impact the foundational needs of society, such as healthcare and education.
Rather than opening our own offices and clinics in Africa, we are “educating the educators” there. We are sending people to train African people and setting up facilities that local African people will run — with ongoing support and assistance from us.
Our team includes inspirational visionaries, experts in the field of medicine and other disciplines, and a talented group of professionals who have come on board to support the vision.
